Benefits of meditation
Meditation has been practiced for thousands of years because people knew how powerful this technique is.
Meditation is known as a spiritual mind practice which has plenty to offer to anyone who is willing to develop this simple habit on a daily basis.
In 70s Harvard University researchers discovered that during the process of meditation the body goes into state of a deep relaxation and is capable of recharging life force energy even faster than during sleep.
Main benefits of meditation:
Meditation lowers blood pressure, cholesterol and the risk of heart disease.
Meditation reduces stress up to 60%, relieves anxiety, depression and insomnia.
Meditation increases happiness, productivity, learning, wellbeing and inner peace.
Additionally many people reported that after practicing meditation for over 30 days they had lost anger, insecurity and fear of falling sick, old age or death.
I have been meditating for couple of years now at least two times a week. Due to my busy schedule I simply couldn’t fit those blissful few moments of stillness in my daily routine until I decided to challenge myself and actually meditate every single day for 30 days.
Here’s how I did it:
I began waking up one hour earlier to make sure I could go to a park nearby and without being disturbed by anyone I would sit under a massive oak tree and tune in to sound of the nature.
It had happened several times that I hadn’t woken up on time, and then I would make sure to do my meditation in the afternoon.
Now here are my observations after completing the 30 days of meditating:
My concentration improved very much.
I gained more clarity on my life purpose and could easily focus on taking steps towards my goals.
I felt inner peace much more often and felt much more poised while facing difficult situations on day to day basis.
My confidence increased to that extend that I was able to take on new projects which turned out to be rather exciting.
Obstacles turned into challenges.
I developed quite deep understanding about my life journey.
I felt more compassionate towards other people even if some would actually do their best to piss me off.
My mental and physical well-being improved.
I stopped caring about the chaos surrounding me.
I was literally flooded with pretty interesting creative ideas for my next art projects and also felt even more inspired to continue writing my book.
My life became much more positive and my big dreams seemed to be within reach of my hands.
I would strongly recommend you to take on the 30 day meditation challenge and experience profound improvements in many areas of your life.
I hope my experience will inspire you.
